However, just to show how strange those relationships are; you could have a friend who is a magician and when he asks you to teach him how to do vent he will listen intently and thank you profusely but ask him to teach you the simplest trick and suddenly he can't find your number or email address. Magicians don't share well with others. LOL!

For me this is really an over the top hobby, I mention that so you don't think I’m some kind of poser, I’m not a pro but I do hope to learn from David. I am a vent but don't perform professionally with it. I may do a little with the kids while taking tickets just to expose them to another form of the art of puppetry.

There has been a couple that wanted to use the facility as a kids sitting service but have the shows performed as well and the troupe would be paid by them to perform. However the mall has the last word and David Eaton is waiting to see what happens. If they do take it over I will join the troupe as the novice puppeteer (marionettes what’s that?) if David opens the theater I will be working primarily in the store area with the day-to-day stuff. I hope to convince David that while the place is defiantly a marionette venue that other types puppets will only enhance the appeal of the store itself to the average person.
