Puppet Productions?

Does anyone know what happened to Puppet Productions? I ordered a puppet from them, they charged my Credit Card now they don't answer emails and their phone numbers give you a recording that it is not a working number. They call themselves Christian yet they steal money from people and are not honest or trustworthy! Is that what christianity is about?

Thanks for the offer Pickles. However, I have built all our puppets except for the little people puppets I bought from PP. It just so happens since I got ripped off I chose to do some ripping myself. So, one of my little people puppets has decided for the sake of the family he would give up his puppet life so that others could be made from his pattern. MMWWAAHH ha, ha, ha, I can smell the glue already. OOH, I think I feel a little dizzy.

I saw that link earlier. Thanks for your help. I lost A LOT of money when they went under. I was one of the first people to pre-order some blinking puppets. Unfortunately , the Credit Card company only has a 60 day "grace period"- so by the time Puppet Productions finally went under my "grace period" was over and I'm left paying for goods I will NEVER have. SUCKS to an honest person when there are people like that in the business world! Pickles,while I'm sure your puppets are wonderful, I will have to pass on the offer. Bill Hawes and Puppet Productions has really soured me.

If you need some puppets you can order from me. I take a deposit, then email photos, then you pay before I ship. The money goes NOWHERE until you have received your order and satisfied. I learned from David Pannabecker who worked for Jim Henson.

Just so happens I had a huge purchase when the bank took the factory. Yep, the way I understand it the owners invested everything and due to the economy they busted. The bank took the factory and the few employees who were left were laid off immediatley. When the bank took the factory they locked the doors and former employees have said there was no way to get to files much less refund money. I placed a $400 order at the end of Feb. and on March 25 I checked their Facebook page and a guy had posted that they had went out of business. I laughed, I thought it hasn't been that long since I last placed my order wouldn't they have contacted me? They had already taken the money from my puppet teams account. I called all the numbers no answer, no email. I quickly ran to my bank to file a recovery claim. I was extremely upset, I didn't want my money I wanted the awesome puppets I had ordered and I still feel that way. My important lesson from this is don't order from a business that takes your money before they ship your products. I just saw a post on the OWS Index that a few of the employees from PP are starting a new company called Puppets Inc. puppetsinc.com and eventually they will start selling the puppets again. If they do business the same way as PP I still don't thing I can do business with them no matter. No matter how I love my little people puppets. Goodbye to a business that had been around for over 30 years and I hope the employees can find a way to pick up the pieces.

This is sad to hear.
