July 30th Calvary Costa Mesa show

July 30th, we performed at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, it was a long night, first we were all very tried. I spend Friday (my birthday) running everywhere (Spa, hair salon, olive Garden, Cheesecake factor, concert) some very close friends took me to all these places for my birthday & Saturday my husband, daughter, son & friends took me to Solvang (took me two days to recover but boy I had a blast) Monday thru Thursday was very busy so I was half asleep, Ray (St Bernard) had emergencies left and right, Charlie had to wake up at 3:00am and work till 4:00pm. So needless to say we were in no shape to do the show. We set up very slowly, and then (once again) are sound system did not work, we had to use the mics that were not wireless (I don’t know what there called). Had to go to the bathroom (all the way across the campus), we did the show for about 60 kids. Some of them were very rude, said a lot of things and yelled at the puppets (I see your head! Etc) Just a little bit of a nightmare. But when Sunny Snail came up they seem to quiet down. We did a show called the fruits of the spirit, bible Betty came up with a hat full of fruit and talked about what she learned in VBS (Vacation Bible School). I was surprised when at the end the kids remembered all the fruit. This show was 40mins long. But we were told that everyone enjoyed the show. Our next show is August 7th Calvary Chapel Downey.
